Monastery history department
The monastery history department, located in the museum center in the immediate vicinity of the Königshalle and Klosterhügel, gives its visitors a compact impression of the outstanding importance of the former imperial monastery.

Show depot Zehntscheune
In 2015, objects from over 200 years of excavation history at Lorsch Abbey were brought together for the first time in the post-monastery barn on the monastery hill and staged in a joint exhibition.

Tobacco Museum
The tobacco museum housed in the museum center shows one of the largest special exhibitions in this field. It reflects the historical importance that tobacco growing and processing has had for Lorsch and the region since the 17th century.
